Magnetic forces in magnetic separators on introducing balls or rods into homogeneous magnetic field

Author: A. Siwiec

The derivation out of formulae for potential, intensity of magnetic field, and magnetic force which appear after inserting a ball or a rod in a homogeneous magnetic field is given in the paper. These formulae indicate on the influence of magnetic susceptibility and radii of balls and rods on magnetic force acting on separated mineral particles. The existence of areas where separated particles are repelled from ball or rod has been shown. The discussion of obtained results is carried out too.
