Simulation of mining method

A simulation model of a mining method is concisely presented.

The simulation approach to model-ling of a mining method as if an dynamic system have been chosen to contribute to building such models in more general (Oberndorfer, 1993).

In application area it has brought out possibilities for investigating and optimizing a new progressive mining method being used in Slovak magnesite deposits, which arose by combination of the room-and-pillar method with the cut-and-fill stoping.

This method enables selecti-ve mining with deploying the trackless mining mechanization.

An example of using the model in the determination of mining recovery and the placing ore pass is depicted.
