The parameters of hazard with gasogeodynamic phenomena and the state of stresses around the dog headings

In the paper the measurement results of gasogeodynamic phenomena hazard obtained during the drilling of testing bore-holes in the dog headings of the "Zofiówka" Coal Mine were presented.

As a part of research the mesurements of methane desorption intensity using coal cutting samples, the measurement of methane pressure in the bore-hole, the measurement of intensity of methane outflow from the bore-hole, and the measurement of quantity of cuttings obtained from the bore-hole were carried out.

Taking the conclusions of coal-mine testing under consideration, the numerical calculations of stresses along the axes of the analysed workings were carried out.

The numerical calculations of stresses were verified using the measurement of hazard with gasogeodynamic phenomena in natural conditions.
